Our day begins with a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the city of Porto, the mouth of the Arda River, and the majestic Douro River.
As we descend the hillside, we follow part of an old coal transport route, a path that once played an important role in the region’s history and today offers beautiful views over the surrounding landscapes.
The walk ends at the mouth of the Arda River, where you can relax by the water and, if you wish, enjoy one of our regional tasting boards featuring local products — the perfect way to finish your Douro Valley experience.

Our experience begins in Areja, in Lomba, with beautiful views over the Douro River and the surrounding landscapes.
Our first stop is the stunning Praia Fluvial da Lomba, a popular river beach and one of the most attractive summer spots in the region.
From there, we continue towards Pé de Moura, a small riverside community where some local fishermen are still active today, offering a glimpse into the traditional way of life along the Douro River.
